The Ford City 5k benefits Divine Redeemer Catholic School. The race is a certified route and is the same historical route used for this race for many years. The course is a flat loop going through much of the town on 4th and 5th Avenues, starting and finishing at Ford City Memorial Park, and is ideal for walkers and also for runners looking to set a new personal best time! Race festivities include a half mile kids race at 10:15am following the 5k, live music, food and drink vendors, and kids' activities. The races occur during Ford City's Annual Heritage Festival, a multi-day festival at Ford City Memorial Park featuring various events, live music, vendors, and food, with fireworks at 10pm on Saturday. The Ford City 5k is one of the oldest and largest 5k races in our region!
